Convert LP Gas Model ZGU385LSMSS

to Natural Gas Operation

SAFETY INFORMATION

The pressureregulator and burner orifices are set for

Liquid Propane(LP)gas operation.

To convert this cooktop from LPgas operation to

natural gas operation, the regulator and burner orifices

must be converted. Natural gas burner orifices are

attached to the regubtor.

CAUTION- The cooktop, as shipped from the

factorg, is set for use with its intended gas. If gou wish

to use gour cooktop with the alternate gas, gou must

first replace the orifices and convert the pressure

regulator.

CAUTI0 N - Thefollowing adjustments must

be made before turning on the burner. Failure to do so

could result in serious injurg. Besure pressure regulator

has been converted as described in Step 1.

Crescent wrench

7mm nutdriver

Safety glasses

Small flat-head

screwdriver

(2 to 2.4 mm or

3/32" tip size,

60 mm long)

[1] ADJUST THE REGULATOR

A. Disconnect all electrical power,at the main circuit

breaker or fuse box.

B. Shut offthe gas supplu to the cooktop /jointfilesconvert/296571/bg closing the

manual shut-off valve.

C. Adjustthe pressureregulator /jointfilesconvert/296571/bg the following

instructions:

• Unscrewthe cap.

• Placeyour thumb against the flat side of the spring

retainer and pressdown to removethe retainer.

• Carefullylook at the spring retainer to locate the NAT

or LPposition.

Pressure regulator

• Turn the spring retainer over so that the desired gas is

showing on the bottom.

• Snap the retainer buck into position.

• Screwthe cap beck onto the regulator.

[2] CHANGE BURNER ORIFICES

INSTALLATIONTIP: Firstremove all Burner cap

orifices and then start replacing them.

This will helpto prevent the possibility

that some may not be replaced.
